Village Farms grows and markets greenhouse grown, high quality hydroponic produce throughout the U.S. Their varieties include a full line of hydroponic tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers that are grown in a way that is healthier for people and the planet. Our goal with the rebrand was to create a current and cohesive brand voice to enhance shelf presence and freshness perceptions.
The signature nature of the new brandmark elevates quality perceptions and adds a human aspect to the brand. Vibrant fresh colors accent each of the core product lines adding a bold presence to the pack.
Custom illustration brings the “Village” to life adding a distinctive and ownable equity to the brand.
The new packaging system utilizes clear labeling to enhance product visibility, while consumer-friendly typography and custom illustration combine to create the feeling of a contemporary farmers market.
For the packaging system we developed trademarkable variety names that key on flavor profiles and simplify dual language application.
With the local movement in full swing it was important to showcase product origin. A new set of icons were created to live on pack and communicate where each product is grown.
Dovetailing with the new brand voice, Village’s website showcases their story with visually rich photography and thoughtful narrative.
To activate the brand we were engaged to develop product and lifestyle photography, print collateral, trade advertising, pop displays and the tradeshow experience.
